Yalee

Able to jump between R&B and hip-hop in a Chris Brown style, singer, songwriter, and performer Yalee was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. Knowing that town couldn't hold his dreams, he left for New York City the day he turned 21. In 2013, he launched his career with Remember My Name, a mixtape that featured a cover of Rihanna's hit "Stay." A year later, the mixtape track "Pretty Girl Dance" was released as a single, while 2015 saw the arrival of "Pretty Girl Dance, Pt. 2," featuring Fetty Wap on the remix. Subsequent singles "Kick Up," "Pokéma-N-Go," and "Friends with Benefits" arrived in 2016, with the latter two also appearing on Yalee's 2017 EP, 10 Hours Away: You Was Never wit Me Sleepin in My Buick.
