Manu Codjia
Born in 1975, guitarist Manu Codjia studied classical guitar before turning to jazz at the CIM and CNSM in Paris. Twice winner of the Festival de Jazz de La Défense, the Chaumont native joined the Orchestre National de Jazz in 2000, before going on to collaborate with Erik Truffaz, Daniel Humair, Henri Texier and others. After a first album, Songlines (2007), Manu Codjia formed a trio with Jérôme Regard (bass) and Philippe Garcia (drums). The trio recorded Manu Codjia (2009), Covers (2010) and Looking for Parker (2013).
