Manoella Torres

Named by talented composer Armando Manzanero as "La Mujer Que Nació Para Cantar" (the Woman Who Was Born to Sing), Manoella Torres started getting radio play in the 1970s with a romantic and sensual song called "Acariciame." Captivated by the Latin-style bolero, the New York-born and Puerto Rican descendant artist became popular in Mexico, developing a successful career during more than three decades. After issuing a tribute to Javier Solis called De La Tierra...Al Cielo, Sonia Rivas produced her compilation of greatest hits, entitled Te Amo (I Love You).
