Leigh-Anne

Leigh-Anne Pinnock, aka Leigh-Anne, is a chart-topping pop and R&B vocalist best recognized as a member of the British girl group and X-Factor champions Little Mix. Following six Top Ten U.K. albums with Little Mix, Leigh-Anne embarked on a solo career, releasing her debut single, "Don't Say Love," in 2023 and her first EP, No Hard Feelings, in 2024. Born in 1991 in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England, Pinnock grew up in a family of Caribbean heritage. She became interested in performing at a young age and was a member of a choir in a local youth club. As a teenager, she worked as a waitress and posted recordings of herself singing to social media. In 2011, she auditioned for the eighth series of the reality vocal competition The X-Factor. It was during the show's bootcamp stage that she was put into a group alongside singer's Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards, and Jesy Nelson. Originally dubbed Rhythmix, they quickly changed their name to Little Mix and ultimately won the competition. With Little Mix, Pinnock released six albums, all of which cracked the Top Five in the U.K., and five of them -- DNA, Salute, Get Weird, Glory Days, and LM5 -- reached the Top 40 of the Billboard 200. She was also on board for 2020's Confetti, which debuted at number two on the U.K. albums chart. In 2022, Pinnock signed a recording contract with Warner Records, and she released her debut solo single, "Don't Say Love," a year later. The song hit number 11 on the U.K. charts and was followed that same year by "My Love" featuring Ayra Starr. In March 2024, she issued the song "Stealin' Love," as the first single off her debut EP, 2024's No Hard Feelings. Produced with Ian Kirkpatrick, the Runners, and Albert Hype, the EP also spawned a second single with "Forbidden Fruit."
