Fayçal Mignon

Fayçal Mignon, real name Faycal Raissi, is an Algerian raï and Maghébine pop singer born on May 3, 1990 in Algiers. He began learning to play the piano as a child, then took up the guitar and oud. A multi-instrumentalist, he turned to singing in 2013 and began performing in nightclubs. Three years later, the success of his track "3omi chikha 3omi" enabled him to reach a wider audience. In 2017, he put together the album Hiya Tezwjet Wana neghbnet, which notably revealed the track "Nabghik Lamok" . Three years later, he shared the microphone with Yanis Brown on "Retour au bled ", which enabled him to broaden his audience. Passionate about sport, he became a footballer, without abandoning his passion for music. He played for FC Laval, before joining CS Montréal in Canada's second division. In 2022, he released the EP recorded on stage, and piloted the Had l3am Yezha Chinwi album alongside Hamza Sunderland. The following year, the artist delivers another collaboration: the single "ﻋﻮﻣﻲ ﻋﻤﺮﻱ ﻋﻮﻣﻲ" which welcomes Cheb Fadi as well as "مولاتي لعرو سة".
