Stefie Shock

Born on March 9, 1969 in Montreal (Canada), Stefie Shock, whose real name is Stéphane René Caron, is a pop singer from Quebec. He released his first album, Presque Rien, on April 11, 2000, which he had recorded the previous year in London. He scored his first radio hit the same year, with the song " Je combats le spleen ". In 2002, he was awarded the Prix Wallonie-Bruxelles in Belgium and the Prix Félix-Leclerc at the Francofolies de Montréal. In 2003, he presents his opus Le Décor, with which he places the songs " L'Amour dans le désert " and " Un Homme à la mer " in the top 10 of the Quebec charts. The album was certified gold the following year, and garnered eight ADISQ nominations. Stefie Shock then released the albums Les Vendredis in 2006, La Mécanique de l'Amour in 2011 andAvant l'Aube in 2014. In 2016, he released a tribute opus to Serge Gainsbourg entitled Douze Belles Dans la Peau, a duet with Quebec singers, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of his death. March 2019 saw the release of Le Fruit du Hasard, where he returned to radio success with the track " As-tu deux minutes ". The compilation Presque Tout Vol.1 follows in November 2020, then a first English-language album called Goodfree in 2022. In February 2023, Stefie Shock releases a special edition of his career opus, to celebrate its 20th anniversary.
