Singer JOHN.k has made a name for himself with breezy, soulful pop music that sounds like it was written for summertime rooftop sunsets.
JOHN.k was born into a musical family, with his grandfather John Poulson having played trumpet in jazz bands and moved in circles with the likes of Bunny Berigan. Despite having grown up around jazz, pop and soul, however, it wasn't until after college that JOHN.k really sank his teeth into music and decided to pursue it as a career. Still, when his first single 'Runnin'' was released in March 2017 it swiftly built an audience and notched up over a million streams by the end of that summer. In August he lent vocals to Ricky Remedy's track 'Gold' and in September dropped his own follow-up 'OT'. He got another boost thanks to NBC's 'Today' when Elvis Duran featured him as Artist of the Month. Through 2018 JOHN.k released just one track, 'Best of Me', and in 2019 he returned with 'If We Never Met'.
