Dabeull

Parisian singer and producer Dabeull, whose real name is David Saïd (born August 9, 1985), feeds his music with numerous influences such as zouk, afropop and funk. He infuses these sources with synthpop and nu-disco, creating a hybrid, retro sound. As such, he's keen to preserve analog sounds both in the studio and on stage. He debuted in 2014 with an EP called Fonk Delight, followed by his first compilation three years later, Indastudio . In 2019, he develops his funk groove on the Intimate Fonk EP. He then crossed paths with Sofiane Pamart. Such is their understanding that the two artists record a joint album in 2021: Loving Life. In 2022, Dabeull continues his "Fonk" series with the Cosmic Fonk EP, on which he collaborates with Rude Jude, Ferdi, Holybrune and others. In 2024, these same guests take part in the creation of the studio album Analog Love (ranked 27th in France), which Dabeull claims to have recorded on the same console used to record Michael Jackson's Thriller . Reva DeVito and Jordan Lee complete the guest cast on this album.
