Pierre Gambini
A native of Corte in Corsica, Pierre Gambini first set out to create pop rock sung in the Corsican language in the Nineties with I Cantelli. After the group experience, Pierre Gambini explored solitary paths that led him first to film music with Bruno Coulais for Sempre Vivu in 2006. This was followed by a solo album, Albe Sistematiche, still sung in the idiom of the Isle of Beauty. In 2010, Canal + entrusted him with the production of the soundtrack for season four of the series Mafiosa, le Clan, subtitled A Paris, les Affaires se Corsent. The project was a complete success, so much so that the series' theme tune was a top-seller in April 2012.
