Nuit Incolore

Born in Vietnam in 2001, Théo Marclay was adopted at the age of five by a Swiss couple and grew up in Fully, in the canton of Valais. After studying piano at the conservatory for ten years from the age of seven, he went on to study musicology at the University of Fribourg and composed his first pieces. They first appeared under the name Nuit Incolore during the Covid-19 pandemic. Their first two EPs, Archive de Pensées and Ruptures en Stock, were followed by the self-produced album Monotonie d'Hiver (2020), before they signed with the Cinq7 label and began performing live. Three new EPs followed in 2021, Énième Exutoire, Contre-Jour and Inferno, a mix of pop and melodic rap. The following year was devoted to the development of the Histoire de Nuit project, released in two parts and retracing his itinerary in the style of a manga. In 2023, the song "Dépassé", which had an echo as far away as Asia, entered the SNEP charts and climbed to #18, before reaching #31 in Belgium at the time of the release of the Insomnia EP. At the end of the same year, he released the album La Loi Du Papillon, on which he collaborated on several tracks with artists such as Tsew The Kid ("Bêtes noires"), Mentissa ("Paradoxe"), and Kyo ("Rendez-vous").
