La petite culotte

Real name Vincent Colonna (Vincè Colonna), La Petite Culotte was born in 1990 and grew up in Ajaccio, Corsica. From an early age, he asserted his passion for his homeland and his joie de vivre through music. He began singing at the age of 18 with Canta u populu corsu, an experience that kept him busy for three years. He then decided to travel to broaden his horizons, living in major cities such as Paris, London and New York, without ever giving up music. He then returned to Bonifacio in Corsica, where he opened a restaurant called La Petite Culotte. He eventually sold it and devoted himself to raising funds for humanitarian causes, but always with the common thread of music, which he pursued through a solo project symbolically named after his former restaurant. Playing in bars and restaurants throughout the summer of 2020, he escaped the administrative closures linked to Covid and managed to consolidate his status as an intermittent performer. The year 2021 promises to be even more promising for him, especially as his festive, danceable track "La Goffa Lolita", which brings an old Corsican song up to date, goes viral on social networks, to the point where the Castres Olympique rugby players adopt it as their anthem. The latter led the song to the French championship title, and it was frequently taken up by supporters at stadiums and village festivals. La Gaffa Lolita" becomes a real hit, reminiscent of the story told by Trois Cafés Gourmands with their 2018 hit "À nos souvenirs", and encourages La Petite Culotte to continue along this festive path: in 2022, they release the album Libertà Lolita! a new 12-track collection, which soon reaches the French Top 50 sales chart (no. 35).
