Ian Kelly

Born Ian Couture-Kelly on March 30, 1979 in Montreal (Canada), Ian Kelly is a Quebec folk singer. He released his first English-language album, Ian Kelly's Insecurity , in 2005. His second opus, Speak Your Mind, followed in September 2008, and was certified gold in March 2011. In November 2013, he released All These Lines, followed the following year by an English-language Christmas single called "Christmas Day" . He achieves his first commercial radio success in Quebec, in 2016, with the single "Montréal", from his album Superfolk. In November 2016, Ian Kelly presents an original holiday song entitled "Noël sur Terre ". Thanks to his Innocent EP, released in October 2017, he reaches the radio charts, once again, with the song "Les Ombres" . In 2018, together with Magneto Trio, he forms the M. Chandler project. He releases the mini-album Sous la Glace, in November 2019, including the track "Dehors l'hiver ", which becomes a hit in Quebec. He presents several singles from 2020 to 2023, including "Au milieu des gens qui rêvent" (2021) and "Vie en vidéo" (2023).
