Laurent Konrad wastes no time: having just recovered from the success of Discobitch, he creates a particularly offbeat character in Helmut Fritz. Helmut Fritz is played by singer Eric Greff. Announced by an eccentric biography, the project features an aristocrat of hipness who spins out the reasons for his irritation in house tempo. " Ca m'énerve", with a video to match the hilarious lyrics, was an instant hit, reaching number 7 on March 21, 2009. The album En Observation was released in June 2009. In December 2011, Helmu Fritz wakes up Santa Claus with his parody of "Little Father Christmas ". Helmut Fritz continues to surprise in 2014 with the double album Décalage Immédiat and its surprising duets.
