Elvellon

Elvellon is a German symphonic metal group with a talent for combining the epic sweep of classical music with the chugging riffs and anthemic choruses of heavy metal. Founded in 2010, the band consists of powerhouse vocalist Nele Messerschmidt, guitarist Gilbert Gelsdorf, drummer Maddin Klüners, bassist Jan Runkel, and keyboardist Pascal Pannen. The group issued a debut EP, Spellbound, in 2015, with the full-length Until Dawn appearing on Reaper Records in 2018. The LP received accolades within the European symphonic metal community, as did the group's commanding live performances at RockHarz Festival, M'era Luna, and Rock Fest Barcelona. Elvellon inked a deal with Napalm Records ahead of the release of their sophomore long-player. Arriving in 2024, Ascending in Synergy saw the band deliver a powerful cinematic effort that bridged the gap between the early days of symphonic metal and the scope and bombast of contemporary power metal.
