Not quite the deafening follow-up to "Time to Burn" like many fans had hoped, "Stormanimal" is still an addictive array of big breaks and hypertension. There's no messing about here: the original discharges underneath a sampled speed talker and other such hard house convulsions whereas the "Happy People in the Morning" mix somehow converts such sequences into some sort of hardcore, hi-hat crazed anthem oddly similar to Hardfloor's "Yeke Yeke" remix from The Beach. A post-"Burn" letdown, but fine just the same.
