A showcase for Lil Yachty's Concrete Rekordz label, hip-hop group Concrete Boys consists of Yachty along with Camo!, Draft Day, Karrahbooo, and Dc2trill. Though tracks by the crew have leaked online, they officially launched with a 2023 On the Radar freestyle and the holiday-themed video "MO JAMS." It's Us, Vol. 1 is their debut album, and it's a somewhat casual introduction, filled with clever but not particularly exciting rhymes -- the rappers have varying levels of charisma, and depending on who is featured, some of the tracks just don't take off. Still, the previous year's freestyle (included as "ON THE RADAR CONCRETE CYPHER") highlights the group's spontaneous energy, as well as their musical versatility, as they flow over laid-back sax and Jersey club-influenced kick drums. It's Us, Vol. 1 landed in the top half of the Billboard 200 upon its release in 2024.
